My heart recalls a woman's smile The fire burns with welcome light For lives untold they walk the land with memory fading, this dream slips
her eyes alight with warmth and care
a memory calls from across the isle
to share a dance with maiden fair
her song a promise from the heart
his hand finds hers in common sight
a kiss to share before they part
to find, to loose, to rediscover
both hearts bound by Goddess hand
their spirits true to one another
you name a breath apon my lips
Does she remember?
she said "just friends"
This journey has taken a life to achieve
to discover what was thought beyond reach
If only illusion, I will not grieve
My heart, my love, you have breached
The moon, my mistress, through uncounted years
Her light soft and cool upon my cheek
Gave me comfort and strength to quell my fears
As my unfullfilled soul grew weak
To give her light, so that I may see,
A final gift only she could do
To weave a form, unbound and free
'Tis her light I find in you
If to dream you fade, by morning's light
'Tis a sleep I will welcome, come each night
new book~
so i found this book the other day.... The Mist-Filled Path by Frank MacEowen.
i was debating on buying another expensive (to me) gadget that i really didnt need, and
went to the book store to browse... i came across this book, and read part of the introduction.
it was if he was talking to me about what i was just going through~
i was amazed. i had chills. was i really drawn to this book so obviously?
i just started reading it on my breaks at work, and am very excited...
father's day/solstice gift
this weekend i got my first father's day gift... a new tattoo.
i had it done saturday ( a little solstice present i guess?)
it combines my love of the old, of pagan style i guess you could say,
and my love of star wars :)
written in a nordic rune, it says
there is no emotion
there is peace
there is no ignorance
there is knowledge
there is no passion
there is serenity
there is no death
there is the force
merry solstice
well, my work week is done, and i'll be off of this pc all weekend. So i'm wishing everyone here a good weekend and a joyful Solstice~ i know i'll be up for the dawn with my little one, so for once i won't miss the sunrise on this long day.
take care,
and blessed be~
